Energy Audits & Assessment
A structured review of how your building, plant or facility consumes energy — load profile, equipment, operating schedules and controls — summarised into a prioritised action list.
Service detailsBest Energy Advisor is an independent consulting firm that reviews how your property buys, uses and reports energy — then gives you a written, prioritised plan you can act on. No product pitches, no hidden commissions, no pressure.
Please note: Best Energy Advisor is a consulting and advisory company only. We are not an independent energy company, utility, supplier, retailer, installer or manufacturer. We do not sell, install, resell or represent any energy product, and we are not affiliated with any utility or supplier. Read our independence statement.
Six focused advisory workstreams. Use one, or combine them into a single engagement — the scope and fee are agreed in writing before any work begins.

Service detailsTwelve months or more of bills and interval data checked line by line: rate schedule accuracy, demand peaks, power factor flags, taxes and fees, and unexplained variances.
Service detailsWe model the rate options available to your account and show which structure fits your real consumption pattern before you sign, renew or change anything.
Service detailsIndependent help preparing supplier comparisons: what to ask, how to compare offers apples-to-apples, and which contract terms quietly transfer risk to you.
Service detailsFeasibility review for solar, battery and on-site generation — sizing, yield assumptions, payback modelling and the questions to put to any installer you engage.
Service detailsConsumption-based reporting you can hand to leadership, a lender or a landlord: energy metrics, trend narratives, carbon estimates and disclosure-ready data packs.
Service details*Illustrative example only. Outcomes depend on your site, contract and operating pattern and are never guaranteed.
Most energy “advice” arrives attached to a sale. Ours does not. We are paid for analysis and guidance — nothing else — so the recommendation you receive is the one that best fits your operation.
Best Energy Advisor works with commercial, industrial, multi-site and residential clients across the United States.
Figures reflect our practice history and typical delivery times. They are descriptive, not a performance guarantee.
From first call to final review, you always know which stage you are in and what happens next.
A free 30-minute conversation about your property, your bills, your pain points and what a useful outcome looks like for you.
You share bills, meter data, contracts and basic site information. We validate, normalise and benchmark everything.
You receive a written report: what is driving cost, what can realistically change, effort versus impact, and recommended sequencing.
We walk you through decisions, support vendor conversations if you want us to, and re-measure results after implementation.
Every engagement ends in documentation you own and can act on: a cost breakdown, a ranked opportunity list, effort-versus-impact scoring and a suggested next-step sequence with owners and dates.

Best Energy Advisor is not a utility, electricity or gas supplier, retailer, broker, installer, contractor, manufacturer or “independent energy company”. We do not own generation assets, we do not resell energy, we do not install equipment and we do not receive commissions from anyone for any recommendation we make. We provide analysis, planning and guidance, and you remain free at every step to choose your own suppliers and contractors.
Commercial, industrial and residential clients — from a single retail unit to portfolios with dozens of meters.
Feedback shared by clients after completed advisory engagements.
They explained our own bills better than anyone had in nine years. We finally understood which charges were fixed, which were avoidable and what to ask before renewing.
The report was honest about what would not pay back. That single point gave us the confidence to approve the measures that genuinely made sense.
Vendor-neutral advice saved us from a contract we would have regretted. The tariff modelling alone was worth the engagement fee several times over.

No. Best Energy Advisor is an independent advisory and consulting firm. We are not a utility, supplier, retailer, broker, installer or manufacturer, and we are not an “independent energy company” in the sense of owning or selling energy. We do not sell electricity, gas, solar systems or equipment, and we take no commission from any supplier or vendor. We provide analysis, planning and guidance only.
A written deliverable set: a normalised cost and consumption baseline, a tariff or rate comparison where relevant, a ranked list of opportunities with effort and indicative impact, and a recommended sequence of next steps. You own the documents and can share them with your own contractors, landlord, lender or finance team.
Depending on scope, engagements are either a fixed fee for a defined deliverable (for example a bill review or a solar feasibility review) or a fixed monthly retainer for ongoing advisory support. The scope, fee, timeline and deliverables are always agreed in writing before work starts — and we never bill a percentage of any contract you sign with a third party.
Usually: twelve months of utility bills (PDF or portal downloads), any interval or sub-meter data you have, your current supply agreement or tariff sheet, basic property details (size, operating hours, main equipment) and a short description of the outcome you want. If something is missing, we will tell you what matters and what does not.
No, and any advisor who guarantees a number you should treat with caution. Our role is to identify and quantify options accurately, show the assumptions behind every figure, and help you choose. Weather, tariffs, occupancy, equipment condition and market prices all influence the final outcome. Savings figures on this website are illustrative examples, not promises.
